Auckland Racing Club - 13 January 2019

Race 7 Fasttrack $5K 2100

Trainer J Richards advised Stewards that the gelding underwent x-rays following this race which revealed a fragment in the off-hind fetlock, adding that a decision whether to operate would be made in the coming days.

Race 4 NZB Insurance Pearl Series Race (1200 metres)

Trainer A Carston advised Stewards that the filly underwent a post-race veterinary examination including bloods tests in the days following this race which did not reveal any abnormality.

Race 8 TUI - BACKING A WINNER SINCE 1889 ANNIVERSARY HANDICAP, Group III (1600 Metres)

Trainer R Bergerson advised Stewards that the gelding had been slightly jarred up following this race, adding it is his intention to freshen BEEFEATER prior to racing next.

Trainer M Murdoch advised Stewards that in the days following this race the filly underwent a veterinary examination including an endoscopic examination which revealed a throat infection, adding that PETRABELLA has since been treated for this and would be sent for a spell.

Race 1 INTERISLANDER SUMMER FESTIVAL 1300

Trainer S Ramsey advised Stewards that in the days following this race the gelding underwent blood tests which revealed it to be suffering from tie up. Mr Ramsey further advised that the gelding would now be sent for a brief spell.
