Auckland Racing Club - 9 March 2019

Race 9 Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Cup (3200 metres)

Trainer A Scott advised Stewards that in the days following this race a stone bruise became apparent in the geldings off front foot. Further advising that CHARLES ROAD had undergone blood tests which revealed the gelding to be suffering from low grade signs of infection. Mr Scott added that the gelding had now been treated and it is their intention to continue on with its current preparation.

Race 10 WHITE ROBE LODGE 1600m 

Trainers have advised that GLOSS has recovered well following its run at Otago last week adding that the mare will be ridden with cover at its next engagement at Ashburton next week.
