Race 3 A W KYLE BUILDER MOBILE PACE

Co-Trainer J Douglas advised Stewards on 23 January that SHOT IN THE DARK was found to be suffering from a viral infection following its performance at Winton last week. Mr Douglas added that he suspects the rest of his stable were also affected by this virus at that meeting.

Trainer M Horton advised Stewards on 25 January that blood tests taken from BETTORS ATOM revealed no abnormalities with the mare continuing with its current preparation.

Trainer R Austin advised Stewards on 27 January that following its performance at Winton last week CALICO HILL has had a change of diet and also a change of training regime with a noticed improvement in its work apparent.

Race 9 CENTRAL OTAGO TROTTING CUP (MOBILE PACE)

Trainer A Black advised Stewards on 26 January that VINTAGE CHEDDAR has been treated for a minor blood infection following its performance at Winton last week adding that providing further tests are clear the gelding will continue with its preparation in the Invercargill Cup on Saturday.
